Oracle April 25:1791

The writing above is in the handwriting of Sir Jos. Banks. I think there is very little doubt as to the author of the Newspaper paragraph - or article.  It is redolent of Major Ross.

Ross was in Norfolk Is. in April 1790

Possibly written by Tench, who quoted the sentence "Pride pomp & circumstances etc on p.42 of his "Complete Account of the Settlement."
