of the other ship she was expected in the Isle of France on her way home.
They feared much for the other ships, that the Capt of the other ship who attended M. De Perouse was killed at Les Isles des Navigateurs that a Boat had been cut off in attempting to Land on New Guinea. I left the Isle of France May 25 & they were looking for their Arrival. This is all I Ever heard & I am inclined to think some of this intelligence if not all is true.
