Dear Sir,
I received yesterday the parcel, and have distributed the letters.
A small box is come, without any letter, containing a strong smelling root, I suppose of some physical use. On the outside is wrote: By the favour of Mr. King, Piaranga root. The box has before been directed to Sir William Jones, so that I suppose it now comes from him.
Two parcels of Zizania are come, I suppose from Mr. Baxter, as it looks exactly like the former, a good deal broke to pieces.
A copy of Hamilton's Regimental Surgeon is come, which I suppose to be for you, a copy having, before You went out of town, come for the Royal Society.
The next parcel I intend sending to Boston Lincoln, supposing that it cannot conveniently reach you at Revesby.
