          As my father has now a regular Gardener in Jamaica on one of his properties, under the management of my Brother Samuel, I shall with pleasure tender the services of both or either of them and I hope with more success than some plants you were to have received from the Public Gardens in Jamaica through me last year.  The Gardener as a good Gardener & Botanist.

          I sent the Rice you were so kind to forward through my Brother to Jamaica.  I have the honor to be with respect
