Tamis Loquitur

Hear me I pray ye charitable people
A poor unfortunate abandond Steeple
My Spire's purloind & I an unhappy Tower
Reduced Severd in Prospect fifty feet & more
in mirth however I'm apter
When this abominable deed I think on
I'm sure I'm apter
To think the Dead fancy Satan supervises Lincoln
Than the Dean & Chapter.
The Parsons killd surely two birds with one stone
Or they sold the old lead when they pulld the Spire down.
