My success in Madeira gives me reason to think that the other Atalantic [Atlantic] Islands which are so far detached from either Continents may yield different plants.  There are Many things which I expected to have communicated to you by this opportunity, but am obliged to defer them a little longer, be pleased to remmember [remember] me to Dr. Solander, & I am Dr [dear] Sir.
