London   March 13

My Dear Sir

The ship Kitty is now arrived & I find that Lt. Woodriff, the naval agent, has a bag of seeds for me. Your Brother at the Custom house will be able to get them, & I will desire my agent to endeavor to find Lt. Woodriff and tell him to deliver them to you, or your order.    

I cannot say that the letters I have recd: from Sydney, are very satisfactory; for I am given to understand, that before I was clear of the land, liquor was sent up to Parramatta & the Ewes and Goats I had given the Settlers to breed from, purchased by those who should have prevented etc
