at Sun rise, at Noon, and at Sun Set. The Garrison Fired three rounds at Noon. I received the Compliments of the Day and the Officers dined with me the Soldiers drank their Sovereign's Health in Porter. The Convicts for this day were allowed half a Pint of Rum a Man, the Women half that quantity. Three Convicts who had been condemned to die and afterwards reprieved for Exile now received full pardon and all Cheerfully joined in Singing God save the King round their Bon Fires.
