Dear Sir

Norfolk Island 8th June 1796

By Capt Hogan of the Marquis Cornwallis I send the Box of Seeds, alluded to in my former letter; he has promised to send this Box by the Ship that carrys the Despatches from Madras - & If it is a matter of Convenience & Certainty he will also forward Two Boxes, One Containing Pine Tree Plants, & the other Flax plants -

Allow me to Introduce Capt Hogan to you, and I am well persuaded that his calling on you will be very acceptable, as he is much esteemed in these Colonies, And is
