them the whole passage, I tryed them in my Round House, Gun Room, & on the poop, but no attention on my part or the Gardners could preserve them - they were sent on board the 2.d of last June at Norfolk Isle and the Ship left it the 18th, previous to that She was blown off for Seven days in a Gale of wind, during which time I have lately learnt that there was some Sprays of the Sea come over the Plants on the Poops where they were then placed, -
Since I left the Island the Thermometer was Seldom under 85 degrees in the Round House, and often at 95 while Sailing along
