Copy of this Letter  I shall as soon as Rain falls, fill some more Boxes ready for the first Ship which may come here, in distress (as no others visit us)

I hope the Flax Plant, will get Safe  it is a Valuable Plant, Moist Ground for rearing it - here it does best on the Sides of the Cliff - I have sent Two Boxes to Coll. Brooke, at St. Helena - In great haste I am with much respect,

Our Crops for the Quantity of Ground Planted will turn out very well indeed - all Wheat   We are in Perfect Good Health & Good order - a great want of four or five Hundred Women - &  about 1000 Men - then
