The Number of Boxes sent you are one from me & one from Cayley
The letters are in the Sec of States Box
The Gentleman who will have the honor of delivering this Letter to you is Mr. Balmain Principal Surgeon who goes home with the Sec of States [leave?], as you will find him very communicative & sensible man, his  having been in the Colony since its first settling will I hope be a recommendation to your Notice - I have the honour to be Very respectfully
