Parramatta July 20th -- 1803

Sir

As the spring is just at hand I shall have occasion to trouble you for several articles  The most that I at present want are 20 boxes for to grow plants in  I shall avail giving the dimensions, as I saw the Carpenter at Government House at Sydney making some for your own use, & which as the best I have yet seen in the Colony -- 20 yards of good duck, &c ½ lb of strong grey thread, for to make a tent of, as the one that I hitherto used is now wore out

The remainder I shall give you a list of the first time I can in Sydney

I am also much troubled for convenience to press

His Excellency
Gov: King
