Sir

I have laid before the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury your Letter of the 8th Inst requesting that some articles brought by yourself and Officers of the "Buffalo" from New South Wales, which are designed for Presents, may be landed duty free & I am commanded by My Lords to acquaint you that before their Lordships can take your application into consideration, it will be necessary you should transmit a List enumerating all the Articles to which you refer in your said letter.
