Beloved [ ? ]
With tears in my eyes I write these lines to you hoping that the Almighty has been pleased to keep you in good health as I am at present. It turned quite the contrary to what I expected in the Sunday school, and with great joy I tell you that the children are more in number than I have seen them this long time it has occasioned a second section in the one class of girls and one class of boys and they all attend very well. I dont know how shall we do after Mr Jones ["leaves"] but I hope it will prove well as it did after you. But I [? inserted] had so much pleasure in the school since you left, and I dont have near enough of time to my class as I should wish.
