had either been left out, or had arrived back from hospital awaiting us.  Went to Steenwerck in afternoon and had haircut & Shave.  Man cut hair, his daughter shaved.  Washed outside in drain.

Had another argument with C.H. Davis, left him and came home on my own.  Bought tomatoes 1 fr. per lb.  Whilst in Steenwerck we had Eggs (2) and custard at 1/9 each. 

(26th) 
Drill in morning (smartening up), form for us and saluting "no bon".  HD got 2 parcels from England
