Leave started today - Left for Poperinghe Station and caught train for Boulogne at 11/10.  Landed there at about 7/30.  We were provided with tea and bread and butter.  The walk up the hill was very tiring - quite 2 miles.  Tent was filled with Jock's who proved kind.  We were told by authorities in this camp that we were likely to lose our leave if we came away with any souvenirs of an explosive nature.  Marched away to boat and boarded
