Fairly quiet. Rained hard this morning.
Sunday 26.11.16Fritz shelled heavily practically the whole day. Relieved at 3 pm, arrived back at camp about 5 pm, where a mail was awaiting our return. Roads in an awful state, mud up to our knees.
Monday 27.11.16Rested all day. Sgt Thompson & Sgt Roberts evacuated & being only N.C.O. left in C. section was put in charge. Wrote long letter home; issued with top boots.
