October 20th 1916
Reveille at 3.30 am. Returned blankets to Q.M. store 5am breakfast.6am marched from Maribyrnong Camp to Ascot Vale station arriving there about 7am.
Special train to Port Melb. Stopped at Flinders St Station for about 15 min. arrived Port Melb. Bout 8am.
Embarked on H.M.T.S."BORDA" (A30) at 10 am, and allotted to tables, stored our kits, then allowed on deck.
