Saturday 34th March 1917
At 9pm light out sounded at the double searchlights playing over our camp, said to be a Zep about. Left camp at 8am had as four mile march to Kangaroo range, where we had a lecture on the cleaning of rifles, then fired 15 rounds. Left the range at 12 noon and arrived in camp at 1.20pm. Accident in camp while waiting to enter Mess Hut, earth gave way over sewerage and 3 men went down (20ft) they were got out but one died.
On account of daylight saving, had to put watch on one hour. Church parade at 9am, parade at 2pm. Warned for draft not allowed to leave lines.
