Aout 22
Coy marched to Blaringham where troops from each Brigade were reviewed by General Godley. Reached camp again about 2p.m. every-body feeling rather tired. The sun was very hot & the steel helmets were very trying to wear.
Went with O.C. to Hazebrouke to see a building which we are going to demolish & bring down & re erect at Ebblingham.

Aout 23
Cpl Morrison & I went to Hazebrouke to supervise dismantling of building which we are going to rebuild at Ebblingham. The building is to be used in connection with schooling & housing of refugee children gathered in from villages that have been destroyed during the war.
