Dear Sir Joseph
You were kind enough last year to grant permission for my having a few plants of the American Cranberries. May I again ask the same favor as I was from the great drought of last Summer obliged to make some alterations in the ground fixt up on for the Culture of Cranberries, & I now find that I require a few more to fill up spaces left vacant. Some bore last year, but it was owing to the manual labor of watering twice a day that I kept them alive. I shall be in London at No. 3 Cork St next Wednesday the 17th & shall quit London for Nocton either on Thursday afternoon or Friday Morning.
Yours very truly
Hy Ls [Henry Lewis] Hobart
