possible for it to come in the Speedy, I immediately told him that it was an article that I could not do without, and would as soon leave one chest of cloaths  behind as it, On this he answered, that he would find me paper till it arrived, but I am afraid that I shall be very much hindered by this. If it should not come at all, I shall not know what to do, indeed if I had not had a few pieces of common shop paper in my chest, I should not have been able to have collected a single specimen here; and as for papers for putting seeds into, I was glad to catch anything, so I hope you will excuse the rude order they appear in.

We were 72 days on our passage from England to here, and thank I enjoyed a good state of health, and still at the present do. During the passage 3 women & a child died.
