To conclude, if it was not for the thoughts of seeing my collection put in a state of preservation, all my thoughts would be engrossed with New South Wales, for in the mountains of thta country my desiderata lie and believe I shall never rest till I have visited some places there I have years ago marked out, but by some reason or other was always prevented from putting my plans into execution. This country is now so much increased in population, and the customs seem so opposite to service, that I can scarcely now call myself a native of it. The Forest undoubtedly has been the cause of this; and whose wilds I now prefer before the most civilized place in the world.
