Trunck, but if that is to large to be preserved, separate the two uterus's from the whole back, & cut trough [through] the body above the pelvis, but not through the uterus, put these parts into spirits if not of the shark kind take out of the abdomen such parts as are uncommon.
If of the roe fish kind, then cut transversly through the lower part of the roe & Fish and then take off the tail below the anus. This severs the connection between the roe and anus the principal parts concerning generation. Such Fish as have anything singular about the Teeth or Gills, cut off
