my different collections safely landed, & that I shall have the pleasure of hearing from you as soon as possible to know the manner in which every thing is to be disposed of, & to whom they are to be delivered. I could wish likewise to know whether they are to be entered at the Custom House; or whether they are to pass free of any molestation from those Ravagers the Custom House Officers in whose power it is, to give a great deal of vexatious trouble. I write this in haste as the boat is going off, I remain with grateful esteem
