For the use of the Tokens under consideration, Britannia may be represented as standing on her Sea Cliffs, her Buckler bracd on her left Arm & her Spear graspd in her right land, standing upright prepard to defend her Island, should her vaunting Enemy dare to attack it, yet by her fixd posture indicating her opinion, that they will not venture upon dare to hazard so rash an undertaking.
Her Olive should be placd on the Ground where the Shield rested before, laid aside, by her while no reasonable hopes of Peace can be entertaind, but ready to be exchangd for her Spear, the moment she beleives her Enemy inclind to Treat, should the existence of a Treaty be avowd, her Spear may be rested on the bend of her right Arm & her Olive replacd in her right hand.
At the present moment she may be accompanied by two Lions, each in an attitude of attention, The one full grown to represent the regular force of the Country, the other a half grown Lion not yet arrivd at its full growth as a representative of the Volunteer force, which she is training up for the purpose of seconding & supporting the well disciplind
