Providence at Coupang in Timor
Oct 8th 1792
My Dear Sir
I am now ready for sea, at least shall be so this Night, and I hope in the course of another day to be clear of Timor - With much difficulty we have been able to collect about 100 Plants of fruit kind which I hope will add to our valuable cargo. -
A Vessel sailed for Batavia [Jakarta] just after I arrived, by whom I wrote to you an account of my proceedings. There is no other opportunity will now offer untill next season, before which I hope to have the happyness of seeing you, and to give you joy of a full completion of the Voyage.
I only think it necessary to leave this as a memorandum of my being here.
With the warmest wishes for your most perfect enjoyment of health I remain

WmBligh
