Dr. Blagden & not me who wishd for permission to visit Cherbourgh & I hope he has long some time since profited by your obliging politeness.
Allow me then Sir to return you thanks for your polite offer & assure you of my regret in not having the power of profiting by it. Should you Sir at any time chuse to visit England I shall be very happy to return you here the favors you [indecipherable] me at Cherbourgh. If you have any commands for this country which I am able to execute I hope you will entrust them to me as I should be happy to seize all opportunities to shew my sense of your civilities & to shew myself
