19 March Sirius hove to to Launch out boats the Tide swept her to the Westward, when the boats were out she made sail but could not weather the outer Rock of the Reef which runs off Point Ross.  She [indecipherable] & used the wind come S.E. & the tide forced her near the Island where on the back of the  Reef she was stayd & tackd on the Island Reef.
