Dear Sir

By a strange mistake you will have received a cover with no. drawings without an explanatory letter. I thank you much for yours. All I wanted about Iceland I find I can get from Bruznich; therefore am sorry I Troubled you. Permit me to draw from you as the fountain of Natural history some intelligence respecting the [indecipherable] whether the 2d  Lernaea is new. If so you are welcome to cause it to be copied & please to return the original in the inclosd frank.

I know the value of your pretious [precious] Time so am unwilling to intrude on it, but must request if you have got Specimens much that you wd cause yr librarian to extract what relates to the Cape aurochs which bears
