most of my seeds, of which I have grown above eight hundred, are coming up - tho' the present dry weather is little favorable to their progress Poor Physick Garden looks quite forlorn, I am labouring hard to work a Reformation but I fear some don't look upon her with a friendly Eye, & consider her rather as a spurious Child laid to their Charge however as others more liberally disposed are well [indecipherable] to her Prosperity. I shall labour on, as I hope in a good cause. I begin my Lecturing the latter end of this month & shall continue reading through the month of June & finish in July I will endeavour tomorrow to find Mr Garthshore & with my Compts to Mr Dryander. and Sir
