Your respecting Letters of the 3d March, and 23d April, with the Book of Plants, in charge of my friend Mr. Browne, all came to hand - On which I lost no time, in endeavouring to trace out the cause, of the mistakes that were committed, in affixing wrong names, to many of the Flowers in the Collection - And I am now satisfied, that they are principally to be be ascribed, to the great incorrectness of the Painter - as is easily seen, from other Chinese Drawings, of the same plants, on a larger scale, where the difference compared with Yours, is amazing - The foregoing has struck me with a fresh idea, that if I could find
