Put in this morning making improvements & giving our home a general cleaning up; Went on duty from 1 oclock till 6 tonight: Riddett who returned from Lemnos a few days ago, & Watson have been put on duty here, & we are now working 4 hours on & 12 off so have a much easier time; We have a good deal of running about working here running messages, there is one thing about it we know where anyone & everyone of any importance is camped A warboat & a Monitor have been giving us a treat in rapid firing today; Our patrols still go out every night & the bombing on Walkers just as willing as ever during the night time, & everything as quiet as ever here; One of our reinforcements was sentenced for a Field Court Martial today for malingering
