The Turks did not attack Walkers last night the bomb throwing was as far as they got & they had an hour or two on the same job tonight; This morning was warm & fine, but clouds came on the scene this afternoon also a cool wind sprang up: Nelson told me this evening that the Col .told him that we would have to change with FH on the top of the hill, & that this 'phone FRA at NO 3 sub section is to be worked both night & day by 6 of D Sqd's Signallers; I did not mind changing when I heard it is to be a 24 hrs Post: Nelson & I both have to go to Bde HQ at 2 oclock tomorrow afternoon Les & Reid have to remain on duty here till 6 tomorrow night
