Thurs 7th
As soon as breakfast was finished this morning I had to go back to the phone box to tell a couple of fatigue men what to do; Les changed the tin of Havelock tobacco for a pack of cards this morning; A parcel mail also arrived with a parcel to me from home; Have had a headache all day but felt a good deal better after having a swim; The heads must have another rough charge in view for us, as we have been issued with fresh meat daily for over a week now & we have come to the conclusion that they are fattening us up to kill; Several lads are complaining of headaches besides me to-day & have come to the conclcusion that is is probably from inoculation
