12 April 1918 Friday (X to X crossed out)The Scotties who have been with us for so long have gone- I cannot say where but the ANZACS have lost a lot of good pals. X I heard today a house suspected of German propaganda work in Jerusalem was searched 200 golden sovereigns, rifles, & enemy documents, in one room were many beautiful frocks from Vienna & Berlin in latest style, Ball shoes etc- supposed to belong to German ladies-Another Canvass Trough stolen by Bedouins last night, notwithstanding a guard.X
