big one into a flare dump at "Flers" (we are about 500 yds off Flers) and there was some fire, its still burning though it has been raining all night, it was a Pretty sight to watch, it was a good size and of course when Fritz saw he'd caught something he started in to give it Particular nothing Howitzers big and small were pumped over sending lighted Flares in all directions. been out on the lines again today they are alright so far.
