8.10.16Hospital to see a few of our lads who are there but when we got to the gate we were held up by a guard as we had no pass to enter the grounds, so we rang up Sister Evans whom we had heard about but had never seen & she got us in, put in a hour yarning with them. went on to Aboukir passing an Aviation School; at the Hotel here we met a Frenchman we knew who was employed in the Russian Bar (Cairo) while we were in Heliopolis, coming back to Alexandria we drove through the Nouza Gardens & it is the best I have even been in, we landed at the French Restaurant for dinner at 7 oclock
