Oberst's revolver & dagger were securely attached to the belt that I still have them.

Leaving the mapping materials there for our draughtsman I went back to H.Q. with my maps & codes, as I thought was sure they were of value to the Div I.O. I had just got back when before I had time to get a bite to eat when the whole of H.Q. had to move off to the forward position, and of course I had to return too, with the bag of captured papers as well as my kit.
