attempt to counter attack. this time we got another tripod and got our gun mounted and he was repulsed.
All night we stood by our gun. in the night was fearfull cold and the ground damp so one couldn't sleep, the ground is full of small beetles and they crawled over us all night.

June 8th 1917.
To day we are being shelled by the gunners all day it lasted until dark
