Of the 31st after a moderately easy scrap. As for us with the exception of nearly being scotched by some big shells - shrapnel - which fortunately burst into the ground we had a very easy time. I went into Beersheba next morning while the turkish fires were still smouldering. It is quite a small place, with the exception of two big buildings & a mosque there is nothing of any size.
