at a diary seems to be dying from the disease common to all diaries, but although correspondents could probably hash up column after column about our daily life we have got so thoroughly accustomed to the routine that there is nothing to us of interest to record.

Yesterday was my first trip up to the trenches I had to hook in my team to a waggon & with two others meet the Q.M. of the 103rd Howitzer Battery in Sailly.
