anticipate an air raid. So by starting earlier we shall finish the part of our work done in which the waggons are assembled together soon after daybreak; an the column will have split up before the enemy starts its usual observation flights

We moved our camp yesterday to a spot near the "Supply Depot" I was only thinking that in happier times it would be the ideal spot for a week end camp. In a farm field adjoining the farm buildings we have pitched tents near the hawthorn hedge & under some high trees. There is the farm pond close by & at the farm we can buy milk
