entrained for Etaples to [Base] Details we left Havre at 10 p.m & got to Rouen at about 10 next a.m. we had to go to a Rest Camp there to wait a train for Etaples In fact we were hung up there a week for some reason or other Another nights travelling & we reached Aust General Base Details there to wait a draft for the 'line' again. –

Was at Etaples 5 days & taken sick again this time German Measles & rushed off to Hospital. My chief 'grouse' about this time was the early morning wash – In fact they seem to be always washing down
