The Company is still tak working at night on the advanced road work

Bert Ridewood was killed up there – Devine & Bill Baird have been wounded while we have had over 20 horses killed, a number wounded & lost some 30 waggons –

Quiney & Macrow have been given the M.C. while Humphreys, Col Hall, L. Collen S. Dunstan & Percy Dixon have got the Military Medal.

They dropped a bomb in the Company lines a few days ago & killed the Majors Hack & wounded 15 other horses luckily no men touched – It was the worst
