next one would just get us But the Taube passed overhead & dropped the next further on & then the silence broke & everyone laughed. We went next morning to where the nearest bomb had dropped in an adjoining Camp of British Engineers. it had landed in the horse lines & killed thirty horses – one man killed outright & about fifteen wounded, 3 of whom died that day.

It gave us a good deal of respect for the Taube Bomb and yesterday most of us had marked down some handy 'funkhole' for the next visit and sure enough last night about the sam time
