Friday 6th November continued

Several miles. A/c E S E for Labur.  

7 [indecipherable] off Labur. headed the vessel off shore for the night. Midnight light wind & fine. Labur bore N 7 miles a/c North.

Saturday 7th November

AM. Light to fresh SE winds & fine vessel standing off & on Labur 6.20 am Capt Twgnam landed at Labur. returned at 8am when we proceeded Towards Bom. 10 am arrived off Bom. saw nothing of the men were looking for, proceeded direct to Rabaul.

Noon passed Makada Isl. 3.30 pm Praed pt abeam   ¼ miles off left Sch. "Harriet Alice" to proceed to Kinigunan. 4.15 pm moored at wharf Rabaul.
