At 10-55 p.m. the following message was despatched to Colonel  Murray, Papua, from Colonel Holmes, British Administrator, German New Guinea: -

"Greetings; all well."

The Japanese ships have been working continuously and their signals are interfering to a great extent with our signals.

Capt. Maguire, A.M.C. reports condition  Pte. James slightly improved.   Health of troops otherwise is good.
