chats with his team mates and one regret of theirs is that had his end been delayed an hour he would have covered himself with glory as it was an action such as would have allowed of a full display of his known skill under fire. Two of his mates have already been commended by the General for their skill, daring and resourcefulness. It is a pride mingled with true sorrow that is theirs. Though as soldiers they face it as they should, yet they cannot help but feel the keenness of the loss of their young untiring, unselfish chum who had been through so much with them.
